"Thank you for making my dream wedding dress Bernadette! I reached out to Bernadette approx. 8 months before my wedding. I had exhausted ALL of the bridal shops in Melbourne and I just couldn't find the perfect gown. I wasn't even being picky... everything off the rack just suited stick skinny 6-foot individuals. I met with Bernadette's daughter (whilst Bernadettte was overseas) to try on some sample gowns and fell in love with a bodice on one and the skirt of another. I was not pressured at all to make any decisions that day and returned with my mum to try them on again with Bernadette this time. She provided invaluable advice and tactfully recommended things to improve the gown for my body shape.
We discussed different fabrics (that Bernadette sources herself for you) and how much that would alter the price for each type. She definitely listened to me and my budget when making recomendations. When I said yes to the dress I had a further 4-5 fittings to make sure the dress was perfect. The pattern was made directly from my measurements and no fabric was cut until both Bernadette and I were 100% happy. I felt extremely comfortable on my day and I absolutely loved the dress. The whole experience in itself, to see what goes on behind the scenes was so much fun! The quote you get was everything inclusive, no added ons for alteration or hidden costs. I paid just over $5000 (plus $450 for veil at last minute) and it was worth every penny for a one of a kind dress!! Highly recommend Bernadette, you are in safe hands!"

"I had the honour of wearing one of Bernadette’s beautiful bridal gowns on my wedding day and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I purchased the dress off the rack and had custom sleeves added. They made the entire process so easy and were incredibly warm, kind and professional. I’m a bridal makeup artist and have heard so many horror stories of other bridal dress shops so as soon as I met Bernadette and her daughter, I knew that this was the business I wanted to support. You don’t have to place a deposit down to try on dresses and everything was done in house which means you don’t need to take it elsewhere to get altered. Most importantly, I never once felt judged and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during every fitting.
